Tours take place on the second Friday and Saturday of each month at noon, from April through November.

Join Us For a Tour of The Assembly House

On this guided tour, you’ll move through ever-changing sculptural environments, displays, and workshop spaces that celebrate art, architecture, preservation, and construction. Along the way, you’ll discover the vision behind this nonprofit creative hub and experience hands-on, community-centered approaches to the built environment. Perfect for anyone curious about craftsmanship, lost arts, and the transformation of historic spaces, the tour invites you to see and feel how buildings can inspire connection and possibility.

The Assembly House has been honored with the Pillar of NY Award from the Preservation League of NYS and an international Great Places Award from the Environmental Design Research Association and the Project for Public Spaces. It is featured in “111 Places in Buffalo That You Must Not Miss” by Brian Hayden (2023) and on the cover of “The City Creative: The Rise of Urban Placemaking in Contemporary America” by David Schalliol and David Carrier (2021).
